This work-package will develop the models that will be used during the operation phase of buildings and block of buildings. It will utilise the monitoring infrastructure from WP2 to develop models integrating energy usage with indoor air quality, occupants behavior, and equipment effectiveness to predict the energy performance of buildings and discover the discrepancies between prediction and real performance of buildings and blocks of buildings.


WP3.O1. Develop advance mechanisms for reliable recognition of occupancy and behaviours based on statistical models and usage patterns. Evaluate the transferability of these models across blocks of building with varying usage types.
WP3.O2. Create a common information model to capture district level systems specification, model configuration and performance related data based on a multi-layer ontology-based system
WP3.O3. Assure the reduction of the energy gap through the development of models that consider influential stochastic factors such as weather and occupancy to accurately predict the energy consumption and the adaptation of the complex energy prediction models to usable models for distributed control.
WP3.O4. Define enhanced Energy Performance Indicators (EnPIs) with additional metrics to support the evaluation and monitoring of on-going performance.
